And it begins

I guess it's actually happening - I packed up and moved out of Boston (thanks Dad!). To be honest, it still didn't really sink in yet. But I now have no official home address... so maybe my brain will catch on soon.

So, after tucking my entire life away in a basement corner in Queens (thank you Xijie & Belinda!), I picked up my backpack and started this adventure!

Currently I'm at the Tokyo airport, waiting for my flight to Singapore, furiously chewing (cinnamon!) gum because 1) 13-hour flight and 2) have to get it in before it becomes against law to do it. Also, Japan is a beautiful country, look!

One last thing before I go. Now, this might be TMI but I like sharing so...
Since I had 3 hours to kill at this airport, I decided to try one of these Japanese butt-washing toilets (bidet I think they call it?) for the first time. I'm glad stalls are a thing because man I could NOT stop laughing. Probably mostly because it took me a good while to figure out that you had to manually turn it off...=.=

There was also a button (have you ever noticed the word "button" has "butt" in it? What a revelation!) with music notes on it beside the button with a water jet on it. I now regret not trying that button.

But hey now I have a clean butt.

Okay now that I've made you slightly uncomfortable...I will leave it here. Thanks for reading and hopefully I can continue to update you with fun stories and cool pictures!

Cheers,
Jenny
